Once, long long ago, the Earth was barren. It had trees, rocks, and running water, but no creatures inhabited its lonely surface. Far away from the surface of the moon a kind white mare looked down upon the earth. This mare happened to rule the equines of the Moon, and over four planets-Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. These planets along with the moon were named the Silver kingdom. She was gentle and merciful, and loved by all of her subjects. Her name was Riata and she led the kind planets Banevolently with her King Kardias.
One day Riata looked out over her kingdom and was troubled by the evil she observed. Yes her planets were kind, but not all evil could be vanquished. Troubled she set off to find a solution. It came in the form of Earth. She exiled are dark-hearted souls to the planet Earth, never to return from where they came.
Far across the solar-system, the ruler of dark-hearted picked up on Riata’s idea. This stallion by the name of Void, ruled over Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto-The Black Kingdom. He had always been bitter that he did not own the moon as Riata and Kardias did. He was very selfish and even something so small as the moon created jealousy within his cold heart. He would never let Riata have the Earth as well, and so he too sent his exiled to the planet’s surface.
Little did Riata and Void know what a problem they would cause. The exiles began to fight among themselves, for the exiles from the Silver Kingdom were cruel, but the exiles from the Black kingdom were kind. All of the exiled equines had special powers unique to their planets, and this made the battles all the worse. Void enjoyed the chaos he had caused and thought little of it, but Riata regretted her actions and tried to no avail to fix them.
After years of futile efforts, Riata grew old and passed away, as did Void, Kardias and the first generation of the exiles. Through years of generations, special abilities began to die off, causing many to forget the story of the two kingdoms. A few exiles are sometimes sent from one of the kingdoms, igniting the spark of the story, and bringing new power to the land. The story of the two kingdoms was passed down so many times now, that no one remembers how it truly went. Most equines on Earth now believe the story to be only a myth. There are of course a select few who know the truth, that the two kingdoms are still out there, and that they deserve to be there. They were not meant for Earth, this land of exiles. They were meant to live were only their kind roams. What about you? Are you content in this land, or would you rather join a land of only your own? Should you have been born to the Silver kingdom, or the Black-Kindom? Maybe you never should have been born at all. Well, it doesn’t matter. You are here now, and you must find your own place in this universe. You must find your own victory.
